Although they had no idea at the time, their regular visits to fashion capital, Milan and trade shows in Florence sowed the seeds for their future business activities. They loved the country, the food and wine, the friendliness of the people and years later in 1990 decided to make the move to live in Italy full time. Firstly in Milan and then fulfilling their lifelong dream of living in a centuries old village in the heart of Tuscany.

 

Soon after moving, friends starting asked them to promote their newly renovated, holiday villas to English speaking guests and slowly the idea for their first web venture, Rent a Villa in Tuscany began to take shape. However, not content with their past success, Fiona and Jim know the travel market is ever changing and they must keep adapting to keep ahead.
